Moving through Midlife
Midlife isn't a crisis, it's an invitation.
Moving Through Midlife is a warm, unhurried space for women navigating the beautiful, complicated, and often uncharted territory of midlife. This isn't a podcast about fixing yourself or following a perfect wellness plan. There are no rules here, no should's, and no one-size-fits-all answers.
Instead, think of this as a conversation with a friend who's in it with you. Sharing what she's trying, what's feeling good, and what she's learning to let go of. Each episode explores gentle ways to support your body, calm your nervous system, and reconnect with the woman you are right now, not the one you used to be, and not some future version you're still working toward.
We talk about movement that feels like self-care, rest that doesn't come with guilt, and the quiet, powerful practice of actually liking yourself in this season of life.
If you're ready to stop fighting your body and start getting curious about it, this is your place.
Come as you are. Stay as long as you need.

You don’t need another set of rules for midlife. You need a place where you can breathe, get curious, and try what actually works in your body right now. That’s what we’re building with Moving Through Midlife: a no-shoulds space for realistic midlife wellness, where movement feels like support instead of punishment.
I’m Courtney, and after 20 years in the fitness industry I’ve worked with people across so many seasons of life, from pregnancy and postpartum to perimenopause, chronic illness support, and older adults well into their 90s. The throughline is always the same: movement is key, but it has to be adaptable. We talk about exploring different types of exercise and paying attention to the feedback your body gives you, so you can keep what resonates and drop what doesn’t. Think sustainable midlife fitness, joint-friendly strength, mobility, and the kind of pacing that respects recovery, stress, and real life.
You’ll also hear some context on why certain audio may be familiar: I’m pulling in select episodes from earlier versions of this show because the insights still matter. And I share a more personal piece too, how I’ve burned the business down and rebuilt it multiple times to find a way to help you without depleting myself. If you want more support, you can find podcast episodes, blog posts, YouTube videos, and a community with seasonal workouts at movingthroughmidlife.com.
If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend who needs a gentler approach to menopause and perimenopause health, and leave a review so more listeners can find us.
